Development of the Company

With the headquarters in Vienna, Bilfinger Baugesellschaft m.b.H. was founded in 1974 as Grün+Bilfinger Vienna and initially was very active in the fields of special underground civil engineering and water drainage work. In 1999, the enterprise was renamed Bilfinger Berger Baugesellschaft m.b.H. In January 2003, the Passau branch of Bilfinger Construction GmbH was integrated into Bilfinger Baugesellschaft m.b.H. The first steps of expansion into Eastern Europe took place in 2004 and 2005. Since 2007, Bilfinger Baugesellschaft m.b.H. has been optimally positioned for the Eastern European market with branches in Bratislava, Slovakia and Bucharest, Romania. |
